Dealing in investments as an agent
The Firm acts as an agent broker utilising WOOD & Company Financial Services, a.s. (its „Sister Company“) in relation to equities transactions in our core markets with its professional clients and eligible counterparties. The Firm’s agreements with its clients clearly reference the fact that any order will be processed by the Sister Company, which maintains a specialist trading desk and all necessary operations departments and equipment in Prague.
Production of investment research and provision of corporate access services
The Firm provides independent investment research services as well as facilitating corporate access services. The Firm’s research focus is on equities in our core markets as well as the Middle East.<br> The investment research team is separate and independent of other members of the Firm and appropriate Chinese walls, both tangible and non, have been established. When producing investment research, the Firm abides at all times with COBS 12 rules.
Arranging transactions in and placing of financial instruments (without a firm commitment basis)
The Firm is engaged in marketing and seeking investors with regards to the sale of exisiting and new securities in transactions in the its Core Markets. The Firm will not be undertaking, at any time, the regulated activity of underwriting financial instruments on a firm commitment basis.
